چکیده

For building a sustainable fermentation process, it is essential to reduce dependence on natural resources and lower the amount of pollution that created. The reuse agro-industrial wastewater after possible treatment leads achievement these goals concurrently. This study investigates production citric acid cellulase enzyme by A. niger cultivated in olive mill (OMW) using loofa sponge-packed column bioreactor. process was conducted under batch conditions single-stage packed bioreactor continuous operation two-stage packed-column bioreactors. Citric were enhanced when culture supplied with cellulose. Employing sponge slices for cell entrapment/immobilization improved efficiency process. maximum concentration achieved 16 g/L yield (YCit.A/BOD) 38.5% productivity 2.5 g/L/day. When parameters translated into employing two bioreactors, significantly 25 steady-state period 5 days at rate 3.6 g/L/day an allover 57.5%. Cellulases reducing sugars continuously second-stage first-stage bioreactor, which turn fungal growth production.

The anomalous appearance of the curves might suggest that a non-random sample had been selected, but examination of the frequencies of cells appearing in different size ranges reveals a normal distribution indicating that a random sample had been selected. The diameters of cells and the correspondent frequencies are: 3.5-2; 4.0-7; 4.5-10; 5.0-20; 5.5-17; 6.0-8; 6.5-2; ...

Lipase production by Aspergillus ibericus using olive mill wastewater.

Olive mill wastewater (OMW) characteristics make it a suitable resource to be used as a microbial culture media to produce value-added compounds, such as enzymes. In this work, the ability of the novel species Aspergillus ibericus to discolor OMW and produce lipase was studied. An initial screening on plates containing an OMW-based agar medium and an emulsified olive oil/rhodamine-B agar medium...

Citric Acid Production by Aspergillus niger Cultivated on Parkia biglobosa Fruit Pulp

The study was conducted to investigate the potential of Parkia biglobosa fruit pulp as substrate for citric acid production by Aspergillus niger. Reducing sugar was estimated by 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid and citric acid was estimated spectrophotometrically using pyridine-acetic anhydride methods. The studies revealed that production parameters (pH, inoculum size, substrate concentration, incuba...

Production of citric acid by Aspergillus niger using cane molasses in a stirred fermentor

The present investigation deals with the kinetics of submerged citric acid fermentation by Aspergillus niger using blackstrap molasses as the basal fermentation media. A laboratory scale stirred fermentor of 15-L capacity having working volume of 9-L was used for cultivation process and nutritional analysis. Among the 10 stock cultures of Aspergillus niger, the strain GCBT7 was found to enhance...
